  • 1. What I need

    My Personal Data Protection Policy governs the use and storage of your data.

    Suzanne Reid Art is a Controller for Client personal data you (the data subject) provide. I collect the following types of personal data from you:

    • Name

    • Email address(es)

    • Telephone number(s)

    • Usage Data

    2. Why I need the above data

    I need your personal data in order to provide you with the following services:

    I may use your Personal Data to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. Deliver your artwork

    • Process quotes or queries relating to Suzanne Reid Art services.

    • Newsletters, marketing or promotional materials.

    • You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email we send.

    • Monitor and analyse visits to my website for internal reporting.

    • Fulfil my business contract with you.

    3. What I do with the personal data I collect

    Your personal data is processed by me, Suzanne Reid. Hosting and storage of your data takes place by using cloud storage infrastructure (more information below).

    Your data will not be shared to third parties unless I have your express permission to do so, unless required by law, or it it is necessary to fulfil our contractual obligations with you. (i.e. I need to input your financial data in our online banking platform).

    I may use the following third-party service providers to process and store your data, only where applicable, depending on your use of Suzanne Reid Art services:

    • Squarespace, which I use to host and manage my website and customer database. Read their privacy policy here.

    • Plausible Analytics, an ethical analytics tool that doesn’t use or track any of your personal data. Learn more here!

    4. How long I keep personal data

    Under UK law, I am required to keep your documents for no longer than it is necessary for the purposes of which it is processed. After this period, your personal data will be irreversibly destroyed. Any personal data held by me for marketing and service update notifications will be kept by me until such time that you notify me that you no longer wish to receive this information.     5. What are your rights?

    Should you believe that any personal data I hold on you is incorrect or incomplete, you have the ability to request to see this information, rectify it or have it deleted. I will respond to such requests within 30 days. If I are not sure of your identity, I may require you to provide further information in order for me to confirm who you are.

    In the event that you wish to complain about how I have handled your personal data, please contact Suzanne Reid at hello@suzannereidart.com. I will then look into your complaint and work with you to resolve the matter.

    In addition, where you have provided consent for the processing of your data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time, which will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before your consent is withdrawn.

    To request a copy of the personal information which I hold about you, to withdraw consent or to exercise any of your rights under the GDPR or DPA please contact Suzanne Reid at hello@suzannereidart.com.

    If you still feel that your personal data has not been handled appropriately according to the law, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office and file a complaint with them.

    This website contains links to other websites that are not connected to Suzanne Reid Art. Links to other sites will open in a new tab. Please be aware that Suzanne Reid Art is not responsible for the privacy practises of such other sites.

    8. Service Providers

    I may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analysing how our Service is used.

    These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

    9. Payment Providers

    I may provide paid products and/or services within the Service. In that case, I use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors).

    I will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.

    The payment processors we work with are:

  • Shipping, Postage & Packaging

    Orders placed of originals will avail of FREE shipping and will be shipped within 3-5 working days (this may change during public holidays).

    Orders placed using the Royal Mail recorded delivery option will be shipped within 1- 2 working days.

    Rolled prints are unmounted and will be delivered in a tube. Mounted prints will be packaged in bubble wrap and sturdy card and brown paper.

    Very occasionally, unavoidable factors can delay a parcel (bad weather or postal strikes, for example). If this happens, I will let you know. I ask for your patience if this happens and will try my best to sort it for you. Once your order is on its way, I will be in touch again to let you know when you should expect it.

    If you take advantage of a discount on the site the reduction is applied only to the price of the product you’ve chosen, not the delivery cost. Also, any free delivery offers will normally mean standard UK delivery only.

    Delivery

    Delivery charges will depend on the destination you choose to have the product delivered to.

    Most of my products will be posted via recorded or special delivery which are signed for services. Any delivery times quoted are based on working days.

    Returns

    If you are unsatisfied with your product, please return within fourteen days of purchase by registered post.

    Payments

    Purchasing products may be completed using the credit and debit card payment facility on the website.

    Some banks may charge additional fees for transactions (ie: when international transactions take place)
